Angel Suarez is a New York based mental health practitioner, specifically a licensed marriage and family therapist, working in private practice providing individual, couple, family, relational and group therapy. They work treating a wide range of clinical issues such as: depression, anxiety, mental disorders, as well as relationship, couple, family and child-parent problems. Angel is proficient in Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Imago Therapy, and Functional Family Therapy (FFT). They have extensive clinical experience working with teens and adults in private practice and outpatient settings, and working with children and adolescents experiencing trauma in the settings of child welfare and schools.

Angel specializes in helping teens and adults who have survived sexual trauma and providing adults only with sex therapy related to desire discrepancy and sexual dysfunctions. Angel also specializes in queer and trans mental health providing gender affirming therapy for teens and adults and their families. They work with all types of families (adoptive, single-house hold, etc.) and relationships (polyamory and monogamy), recognizing the importance of diversity and identity within one's life.​

Angel is also a board certified sexologist and sex coach providing adults only with education and techniques around deepening their sexual empowerment. By teaching practical tools, Angel can support adults understand their sexual needs and desires.
